A Good Testimony PDF Print E-mail

Baptism

Sunday, March 14th, we will once again see adults and children follow the Lord's example by making a public testimony of their faith through baptism.

Baptism is a public profession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ - plus, it's a step of obedience, since Jesus himself commanded it. If you're made the decision to become a Christian but have never been immersed, you're welcome to do so on that day as well. Please discuss this with the pastor or one of the elders between ASAP if you'd like to participate.

"We have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life." - Romans 6.4

Why so merry? PDF Print E-mail
pictures of Santa and St. Nicholas

What makes your season bright? Chestnuts roasting on a open fire, like the song goes? Santa Claus coming to town? Some of our holiday traditions uphold real, lasting joy, and are pleasing to both God and us - while others do just the opposite. Sunday mornings in December, take a break from shopping, wrapping, cleaning and cooking to hear the Christmas story in new ways and some very, very old ways as Pastor Keith teaches about Jesus and holiday traditions. It might just make your Christmas one to remember.

The Hope of Glory PDF Print E-mail
the Hope of Glory

When you read in Scripture that we are (or should be) united with Christ, what does it mean? The Bible states that God intends to fill the earth with His glory - but how? These and many other ideas are explored in Pastor Keith's sermon series, "Christ: Dwelling Within You." Learn what God has in store for His people!

THANKS for your GIVING PDF Print E-mail
giving hands

Thanks to your generosity, there was a little more cheer in this world for the Thanksgiving holiday - and there will be again this Christmas. Over & above our weekly food pantry ministry, KHBC packed and delivered 24 Thanksgiving meals to needy families in our neighborhood. We were also able to send 80 'shoeboxes' of joy to Operation Christmas Child, which will be sent to different locations around the world with toys, candy, and a gospel presentation. On behalf of the recipients, thank you one and all for making this happen.

And don't forget about our collection for the advancement of international missions all throughout December. Pray about how much to give, and help support bible studies and bible distribution, evangelism and church planting world-wide. What a gift to give to Jesus as we celebrate his birthday!
